Living In A Historical Moment



The root of this historic moment is steeped in slavery, Jim Crow, the Civil Rights struggle and the injustices and inequities that still prevail. Alas, as Alexander Pope once proclaimed:

"Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never Is, but always To be blest:
The soul, uneasy and confin'd from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come."
