Genocide & Empire II : An Indonesian Case Study

A policy of permanent warfare, degradation and suppression of the humanity of the population (especially those not in the "conquering class")  has been a model for every empire. Let's not forget the role of keeping the population "happy" with entertainment and sporting spectacles. This has played out from the time of the Romans to the present.This cycle will continue to repeat until enough people wake up to change this and elevate human societies to another level. What will it take? Catastrophic climate change? Destructive wars? Ecological disasters? Famine? Food/Water shortages? Global financial meltdowns?
