Yet another book I have added to by long reading list to devour. I first heard of Dr Hart in an interview on WPFW-FM on my way to work a week or two ago. His perspective is quite enlightening and critically necessary at this time as the War On Drugs has been an utter failure & has done nothing but to single out & send a whole generation of young, black/brown/red folks to jail instead of to treatment/rehab centers.All the money that was thrown at this "War" (over $1 trillion) could have gone into urban development to include better schools, drug/rehab centers, job creation, etc.
