A few months ago, I abandoned Facebook as I found myself wasting precious time just looking at pictures and messages from people I hardly see or hear from. It didn't make any sense. Outside of providing useful links to things that matter, Facebook became one huge time-killer. Now instead of mindlessly looking at the snapshot lives of others when I have time, I do more useful things. This clip pretty much sums up my views of the Facebook generation. Twitter is just as bad, especially for the young & senseless, but it is potentially way more useful. Twitter forces you to be more concise & to just publish or link to what really matters (yes, that's highly subjective)! No bullshit picture & comments of some "friend" with an ugly dog on a beach cheesin' for the camera.
