Introduction

Hello! I created this blog with the hopes of furthering the ongoing discussion of what it means to be human in the timeless Socratic tradition in order to arrive at some semblance of what we term 'truth'. It is my conviction that this 'truth' is found in the tension of opposites - what the I-CHING calls the yin and yang or in Heraclites' notion that all change comes through the struggle of opposites. This to me is the foundation on which to continue and creatively expand on the conscious-raising exercise of critical inquiry and, ultimately, true freedom. To this end, let the party begin!
